Happy 29th birthday, Ryota!! Hope you enjoy the last of your 20’s.
So sore from yesterday’s concert at ZOZO Marine Stadium but it was so worth it! ONE OK ROCK and ELLEGARDEN were just awesome! Read my full report here!
I’ve noticed that someone has taken the photo of my collection (seen above) and posted it to Facebook. Please don’t use any contents of my site without permission. Thank you.
Happy August!!
At noon today, ONE OK ROCK announced the ONE OK ROCK with Orchestra Japan Tour 2018 for October! They will be playing at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama on October 20-21, and at Osaka Jo-Hall in Osaka on October 30-31. The lottery for Primal Footmark members will begin tomorrow. Like the Ambitions Japan Dome Tour, tickets will be smartphone tickets via the tixeebox app.
You can bet I’ll be going!
ONE OK ROCK was announced as guests for ELLEGARDEN’s “THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN” Tour!!! They will be guest at all three tour performances, and the dates are listed in the sidebar.
This is an absolute dream come true! I’ve loved ELLEGARDEN since they were still active back in the early 2000’s and was pretty devastated when they went on hiatus. I was so excited when they announced their comeback and even more so when I got tickets to their Marine Stadium live. To have ONE OK ROCK as a guest performer is just icing on the cake. I was already hyped since ELLEGARDEN was a big part of my teen years but now I am just totally stoked that I’ll be able to see two of my favorite bands at the same concert. You can bet that I’ll be writing up a live report!
On this day three years ago, ONE OK ROCK signed a contract with Warner Bros. Records and made their U.S. debut! Congratulations on their third anniversary in the American music scene! Here’s to hoping they will find even more success in the West and beyond.
Don’t forget that you can do your part to support the band by purchasing their CDs, BDs/DVDs, and other merch! All the Blu-ray and DVD releases of their concerts are region free which means they can be played anywhere in the world. Please do not rely solely on illegal downloads.
I’ve noticed that most people who have visited this site the past month and a half have found their way here by searching for downloads of concert footage. While I appreciate the hits, I’d like to take this opportunity to make it clear that there are no files available for download on this site. I do not condone illegal downloads and sincerely hope that anyone who calls themselves a fan of ONE OK ROCK will support the band financially and consume their media in a legal manner.
Checked out the Five Finders Photo Festival gallery in Shibuya which just opened. My report can be found here.
I have survived DEAD POP FESTiVAL! Check out my report here. Unfortunately this is the only summer festival that I will be attending so my summer’s pretty much over. I hope ONE OK ROCK will do something else in Japan later in the year as I’d love to see them again.
It hasn’t been publicized on any official social media accounts, but the official ONE OK ROCK English website lists a performance on September 25 in Mexico City, Mexico. Perhaps this is a make-up performance for the one they had to cancel last year due to the earthquake?
Happy 31st birthday, Tomoya!!
FINALLY!! After having been teased three agonizingly long months ago, the music video for Change has been released at last!! There are English and Japanese versions of the MV, and the only difference is the one verse that’s different between them. I think the Japanese version is better though since Taka is seen drawing “SOS” with his finger during the Japanese verse. His wink killed me.
Today marks the 11th anniversary of ONE OK ROCK’s major debut! Their first major single Naihi Shinsho was released 11 years ago today on April 25, 2007. To celebrate, check out the translations for Naihi Shinsho and Kako wa Kyoukasho ni Mirai wa Shukudai!
