Happy 31st birthday, Tomoya!!

FINALLY!! After having been teased three agonizingly long months ago, the music video for Change has been released at last!! There are English and Japanese versions of the MV, and the only difference is the one verse that’s different between them. I think the Japanese version is better though since Taka is seen drawing “SOS” with his finger during the Japanese verse. His wink killed me.

Today marks the 11th anniversary of ONE OK ROCK’s major debut! Their first major single Naihi Shinsho was released 11 years ago today on April 25, 2007. To celebrate, check out the translations for Naihi Shinsho and Kako wa Kyoukasho ni Mirai wa Shukudai!

Happy 30th birthday, Taka!!

To commemorate Taka’s big day, I’ve added a translation of 69 (pronounced “rock”), which is a track where Taka chose words rather than songs lyrics to convey his message.

It was announced today that ONE OK ROCK will be performing at SUMMER SONIC in Osaka on August 18 on the Ocean Stage! This must be the summer festival that Taka hinted at during their live at Kyocera Dome Osaka. Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park will also be performing on the same stage on the same day so I’m sure they’ll have a nice reunion. Wish I could be there but Osaka is so far away…

Back from Tokyo Dome and OMG, that was an amazing concert!! Check out my full report in the Special section. WOWOW will be broadcasting the live on May 26.

At the live they passed out promotional packets with flyers and such, and one of the flyers was for Honda Jet with interviews with Taka and a Honda Jet developer. It also had the official lyrics for Change on it so I’ve corrected any mistakes I had on my page.

It took me close to three weeks but I’ve finally finished putting up the lyrics to all of ONE OK ROCK’s songs! I’ll translate more songs as time allows but for now, enjoy the original lyrics!

In other news, the Ambitions Japan Dome Tour begins tomorrow in Osaka!!

In just a short month, Taka will be turning 30 years old! The countdown begins!
